About the Leola Z. Clark Scholarship for a Wellington Heights Student:

The scholarship shall be for $3,000. The first year’s payment is $750. The recipient will receive the same amount for each of the following three years upon proof of satisfactory progress toward completion of their educational program

To be considered for a Scholarship:

  1. Applicant must live in Wellington Heights, which is bounded by 1st Ave NE, 19th St SE, Mount Vernon Rd SE, and 10th St. SE
  2. Applicant must have a financial need – annual family income cannot exceed $62,400
  3. Applicant must be graduating from high school during the current school year
  4. Applicant must be pursuing a post-secondary education in an accredited college, university, community college, vocational or technical school, not including continuing education
  5. Application must be completed in full.  
  6. You may find it helpful to prepare your essay responses in another document and then cut and paste your responses into this form. 
  7. Application and two letters of reference must be received or postmarked by April 15
