I had a knee injury whilst overseas in Thailand, I needed to get home urgently. The team was so good at getting things organised for me and got me on the next flight home and arranged for reimbursements of my hospital costs. I will always use this company for my travel insurance. Big shout out to Sarah and Lindsay for their support.

An insurance policy is only as strong as the company that issues the policy. From my experience, I can clearly share that this is a trustworthy company that keeps its commitments to its policy holders. We purchased travel insurance for our family vacation and ended up needing to file a medical claim due to an injury my wife sustained while on vacation. Once we contracted the company we had a team of individuals helping us navigate our challenging situation and going above and beyond our expectations to ensure a safe return home. I am thoroughly impressed with the company and the team that helped us. Thank you to Lindsay, Sarah, Yuri, Brianna, and Karine for bringing us back home in a way that alleviated our concerns and provided great care!

I had a horrific time trying to pay the premium on the website. I called the customer service number and the reps kept asking me repeatedly what I needed help with not asking where I am going and on what dates.

Regarding the payment, your financial institution blocked the initial payment requests and requested that future attempts be blocked as well. This is possibly due to a built-in safeguard your bank has in place to avoid fraudulent charges. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for the feedback.
I took travel insurance with Battleface when I purchased my currency through Eurochange. The application process was very simple. I actually had to check that I had done it right as it was so straight forward !
Unfortunately I took unwell at the airport and was unable to fly. I was devastated.
When I made the claim I was expecting the third degree, nothing could have been further from that. Staff were polite , professional and empathetic. I received my approval email within 1 week of making the initial claim. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. My partner is with a main stream insurer and having terrible difficulties.

As indicated in our response, our US policies are not available for purchase once you have departed on your trip. There are guardrails on our website to enforce this, however, they are dependent on the customer entering travel dates that are consistent with the dates when they are leaving and returning to the United States. Given your feedback, we will evaluate more ways to make our intent even clearer on the website. It was not our intent to cause any confusion. If you'd like to discuss further, please respond to our email with a time that is convenient for you and we will contact you.
Great booking experience! I was at a ski resort when I realised I had forgotten to book insurance. After several scam looking sites I came across Battleface, booked it in under 5 min. One of the few that accept to insure after the start of the trip.

We bought Battleface insurance for our Schengen visa. There was an issue we encountered with minor information missing from the insurance certificate that the visa office required. Battleface insurance was extremely efficient and effective at helping us sort this out. They very quickly wrote us a letter and amended some info to submit to the visa office. I appreciate all the help. Thank you!

EXCELLENT service from Karine!
I was skeptical at first given reviews and the low(ish) price. Yet we suddenly needed the insurance for an elderly person and Karine was OUTSTANDING. Quick, professional and helpful - didn't try to brush us off and suggested the right course of action. Even followed up twice after to see how things were. She deserved a medal!

I purchased a battleface policy for a vacation in Morocco. On the way home, our connecting flight was cancelled and we were stranded in Morocco for two days with no way to get home. Most of that time was without our luggage. I filed a claim online, answered one question, and received reimbursement for my expenses within a couple of weeks. The process was transparent and easy.

Prompt action, organizing everything from hotels, to transport, to meeting you at hospital, going direct to see doctor, no waiting around for hours. On completion of medical tests, having taxi at front door waiting for you to take you back.
Answering emails within hours was fantastic service. When you cannot phone the company as call provider is not aligned for calls abroad, they receive an email, and call you back.
Staff are welcoming, and actually do what they say is being done. It's done within hours also.
Highly recommended in all their actions.

After an unexpected extension to a trip we realised our standard travel insurance wouldn’t cover us for the extra days. This meant looking at alternatives; we had already used Battleface during covid when they covered us for travel when no one else would so we looked there again. The beauty of Battleface is that you can buy a policy whilst travelling and they will cover you 24hrs later.
Staff are quick to answer any queries and the policy was sorted quickly and easily.
