Books, books everywhere! That's our motto in our high school authentic literacy classroom. Grades 9-12 all take their classes in my room and my classroom library needs to be packed to the gills with books reaching every level and interest of reader. Our junior high students even sneak in during passing periods and check out books. Using Nancie Atwell, Donalyn Miller, Kelly Gallagher, Penny Kittle, Dave Stuart, Jr., and so many more amazing teacher-experts as my guides, I help re-spark students' interests in reading and discussing.
