WEEKDAYS

8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Service starts at the Kingston Ferry Terminal: Last pickup at 4:00 PM.

Saturday service only operates in the summer.

Areas Served

Downtown Kingston, George's Corner / Kountry Korners, Gamblewood, Jefferson Point, Little Boston, and a direct shuttle to The Point Casino & Hotel (For the safety of our passengers, we cannot offer service along Hansville Rd NE between George's Corner Park & Ride and The Point Casino). 

Where Can I Go

Catch the bus to work, shopping, lunch or to visit friends. Travel inside the service area or meet a Routed Bus to connect to Suquamish, Indianola, Bainbridge Island or with connect with the Kingston-Edmonds ferry and Kitsap Transit Fast Ferry.

Stops

Stops are made only within the service area and all rides must start and/or end inside the service area. The bus will also serve Gamblewood, Jefferson Point, Little Boston and The Point Casino & Hotel.

Snow Route

Kingston Ride will travel a modified service area when Snow and Extreme Weather events are activated unless service has been canceled or altered to Emergency Service. See Snow & Extreme Weather Service Area Map to the right.

The bus will pick you up at the intersection nearest to your requested pick-up location. Our buses cannot navigate certain streets and will not travel down driveways or dead-end streets. Refer to map below for Kingston Ride’s service area.

Kingston Ride Scheduled Pickup Times

Kingston Ride operates scheduled trips between Safeway on Highway 104 and the Village Green Community Center (in front of the Library) on Dulay Road. If you need to travel elsewhere, schedule a ride. See below for details.

Call to Schedule a Ride

Call 1.844.475.7433 . Reservation lines are open from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Depending on call volume, you may have to wait to speak to a representative. 

Individual trips may be grouped with other Kingston Ride or ACCESS service trips to the same or nearby destinations. For riders planning to connect to the Kingston Ferry Terminal, the trip will be scheduled to meet those specific time needs. For trips with no specific time constraints, riders may be asked to adjust their desired trip time to coordinate with other scheduled trips in their area.

Who can ride?

Kingston Ride is open to anyone but isn’t designed for large groups. You can request a ride for up to six (6) passengers at a time. If you are making a reservation by phone, please notify the reservationist of the total number of passengers. Kitsap Transit will try its best to meet all requested trips but cannot guarantee seating for groups.


Fares

  • Adult Fare (one-way): $2.00
  • Reduced Fare (one-way): $1.00
    • To qualify for a reduced fare, customers must show a valid Medicare Card or a Regional Reduced Fare Permit (RRFP).
  • FREE: Anyone aged 18 and under can ride Kitsap Transit services free of charge.
