Our mission is to help your business recover and thrive. Thanks to a state grant, the communities of Essex, Gloucester, Manchester-by-the-Sea, and Rockport, in partnership with the Chamber, are working collaboratively to help Cape Ann’s small businesses make a strong recovery from the pandemic.
How this program can help your business:
We are offering direct, customized support and/or services to help your business adapt, modernize and thrive as we emerge from the pandemic. The support plan for your business will be tailored to address the priority needs that you identify.
We are developing an online platform where all Cape Ann businesses can actively update their hours of operation, locations & contact information, enhance business listings, add promotions, products & services, and more.
We are producing a comprehensive marketing campaign to promote Cape Ann and our small businesses and highlight Cape Ann’s diverse Main Streets and downtown shopping districts.
What To Expect:
April - May 2021
Business outreach, surveys and webinars, virtual platform trial, marketing requests for proposals and marketing campaign launch.
Jun - July 2021
One on one business support and training, virtual platform expansion, video launch with paid advertising and robust social media marketing and more.
August - September 2021
Continued one on one business support and training, business success stories and testimonials, continued marketing/public relations campaign and virtual platform promotion
