Smith Funeral Home Ltd. is locally owned and operated since 1951, by the Dale and Ron Smith Family.

 

Smith Funeral Home Ltd. own and operate the only local Crematorium

in the City of Brooks and area, since 2015

 

In order to give you peace of mind, we are now able to complete your loved one’s cremation in our local crematorium. 

We also offer many types of urns, including custom made urns personalized to your loved one's lifestyle. Urns maybe  buried, kept at your home 

or placed into a Columbarium, which is now located in the City of Brooks Cemetery.

Smith Funeral Home Ltd. are agents for Southern Monument of Lethbridge, Alberta.

Southern Monument are the only memorial company in Southern Alberta with the ability to create a personal memorial from raw granite. Their craft people, which include design specialists and granite sculptors, can offer you a choice of many designs, as well as being able implement your personal touches to the memorial.

Each memorial starts with stone sourced from one of the premier granite manufacturers in the world – Rock of Ages.

     City of Brooks’ Handibus Specialized Transit Service.
The City of Brooks will transport seniors and those with cognitive and physical disabilities

as well as anyone in the community that will require the service with short term disabilities to and from any local Funeral Service.

The cost to utilize the Handibus Specialized Transit Service is $4 per one-way trip.
